BSA 206 - Run Lola Run
Run Lola Run 1998, German, Tom Wyker Run Lola Run won 28 awards including German film award for best direction, Independent spirit award for best International film, and the German Film award for Best Feature Film. The techniques were very cheesy in their use by todays standards. However being a 90's movie this is to be expected. The techniques were extremely useful in telling the story as it gave a better sense of the time things were happening, which is a recurring theme in the story. As for motifs, there were barely any light motifs. However, for motifs throughout the movies. The clocks and time in general were major recurring themes. On top of this the event were motifs for this movie. The key events of each possible timeline always played out, albeit in different manners. As for recommending this film. This is definitely a film I would recommend as it is an entertaining watch.
